This is an early Imari cylindrical sake cup, fired in Arita during the early Edo period. It is believed to have originally been a censer (unglazed on the inside), but its size makes it perfect for a sake cup, and it was used as a "guinomi" (a type of sake cup). There is one chip on the rim. There are no cracks. Size: Approximately 8.5 cm in height, approximately 6.4 cm in diameter at the mouth.
