The Western Police DVD Collection has also started, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to obtain as more people are starting to collect them. This is a limited edition and is already out of print. This is the Machine RS-2, which appeared in Western Police Part III and was mainly driven by Detective Godai (Yoshizumi Ishihara) and Detective Minami (Shoji Kobayashi). The Aoshima Western Police plastic model kits were originally from the 1970s, but in the 2000s, they were branded as "Perfect Models," with new parts added for the tail lamp base and other details. (Images 5 & 6) This is a super-detailed version, based on the Perfect Model specifications, and was released as a limited edition. It includes etching parts, a distinctive antenna connecting from the rear of the body to the sunroof, and metal seals for the side mirrors, making it very valuable now. The RS-2 specific body also reproduces the passenger seat computer and the side body patrol lights. In addition to the detailed parts for the Perfect Model, the included etching parts and metal wires allow for significant detail upgrades. The metal wires connecting to the sunroof are pre-shaped with hook-shaped connections. The body is in good condition with no noticeable warping or dents. (The body itself was not originally sealed in plastic.) The markings are in good condition with no yellowing or deterioration. It is difficult to obtain these now, so how about it for Western Police fans? The package has age-related damage such as dents and scratches, and the sides are significantly faded. It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in a cardboard box for shipping. I am also listing many other movie and drama model kits.
