These are pruned Zelkova (Keyaki) branches. I will send 60 extremely thin branches, like the ones in the photo. They have been washed with hot water after pruning. The length is just under 30 cm, and the thickness is around 3-6 mm. Zelkova is characterized by being very hard and strong. How about using them for handmade materials, crafts, etc.? I will ship them in an envelope or box via A4 Nekoposu, so please understand. I pruned them in February, so they have dried quite a bit. They become stronger when they are well dried. Some wood shavings may come off due to shaking during shipping. I recommend opening the package in a place where wood shavings won't be a problem. Occasionally, mold may occur, so please do not store them in a plastic bag. I store mine upright in a cardboard box in a well-ventilated place. Some of the cut ends are not cleanly cut, and there may be small insect holes, cracks due to the passage of time, cut branch ends, bends, or areas where the bark is damaged or peeled. The bark of the thicker branches is rough and often dark. Some branches are rough on the underside. Occasionally, small insects about 5 mm long may bore holes in the wood. If you are concerned, you may want to pour hot water on them or boil them before using them. Please understand that these Zelkova branches have not been disinfected in any way.
