I carved a Maneki-Neko (beckoning cat) from Palo Santo, the sacred wood. With a base made from a slice of Enju (Japanese Pagoda Tree) wood. Dimensions: Approximately 64mm x 44mm ● Palo Santo (Sacred Wood) It is said to ward off evil and attract good things. It is also called the "sacred wood" or "wood that brings happiness." I carved this from scraps I obtained. Due to the Washington Convention, export restrictions have made it very expensive. ● Onyx (Black Agate) It is said to represent unwavering faith and support the achievement of goals.
