Developed by Chunsoft and published by Spike. On October 18, 2012, a PlayStation Portable version, "Shiren the Wanderer 4 plus: The Eye of God and the Devil's Navel" (Fushigi no Dungeon: Furai no Shiren 4 plus: Kami no Hitomi to Akuma no Heso), with added elements, was released by Spike Chunsoft. The main differences between "Shiren the Wanderer 4 plus" and "Shiren the Wanderer 4" are the added elements and system changes, especially the "Night System" and the "HP Natural Recovery System." In "Shiren the Wanderer 4 plus," the HP recovery system was changed to naturally recover, encouraging a more aggressive play style.
