I put a lot of thought into the lining! (*^^*) The outer fabric is an unused, unpatterned kimono (with a crest) purchased from a recycle shop. It's a very elegant color (described as "black-red," which is a deep purple. The photos don't quite capture it, but the colors in the first and second photos, which show the lining, are closer to the real thing. It's silk crepe. The lining of the long bag is a men's long undergarment purchased from a recycle shop. It's silk. I love the pattern. The lining of the body bag was made from the lining of the same kimono. The pattern near the drawstring is an embroidered crest. There are sewing marks and creases. I don't think there are any stains. The photos show a Tsugaru shamisen inside. The shamisen is not included. Materials: Long bag: Outer: Silk Lining: Silk Body bag: Outer: Silk Lining: Unknown Handmade by an amateur. Please be aware of this. Just my personal opinion... Shamisen sound muffled when they're not played for a while, but I feel like they start to sound better the more you play them. However, I feel like storing them in a silk long bag and body bag allows them to produce a good sound from the very first strike. (*^^*)
