This is a Yanagiba knife by Yukihide. The blade length is approximately 25.5cm. The steel type is unknown. Yukihide knives are old and not often seen recently, but they are masterpieces and therefore rare. The blade has been mirror-polished after removing scratches and rust. Because of the mirror polishing, some fine scratches remain, but it is recommended if you don't mind. Both the flat and the cutting edge have been beautifully sharpened and polished, resulting in a nearly mirror-like finish. Overall, it is in good condition and an easy-to-use size, so it is recommended for both professionals and general users. The sharpening stones used for finishing are Kitayama 8000 grit, Shapton 12000 grit, and natural whetstones.
