Brother A3-compatible printer/multi-function device MFC-J6983CDW Purchased about 5 years ago and still works without problems. There are some scratches and stains due to aging. Printing works without issues, but upon inspection for this listing, I found damage to the paper feed section due to aging. 〈Damage Details〉 The rear paper feed section is normally closed, and it opens to accommodate larger paper sizes like A3 or B4. Damage is visible on both sides of this paper feed section. ① Damage on the left side inside causes the left contact surface to lift slightly when opened. ② Damage on the right side inside prevents it from closing once opened, fixing it in the open position. While there's no particular inconvenience when using it open, if you want to close it, you need to remove the part entirely and reattach it to close it. (Photos of the damage on the right side are included) Even in this condition, B4 printing is still possible without problems, and I haven't found any other issues besides this paper feed part. I have always used genuine ink. I hope you will consider this, understanding the condition of the device.
