This is a repurposed tapestry/table center made from a used silk (正絹 - seiken) fukuro obi (袋帯 - formal obi). It depicts Heian period nobles. Many princesses and lords are present, with the expressions on their faces and the patterns on their kimonos woven in detail. The gold thread shines, making it gorgeous and beautiful.
