A "Goto-nuri" lacquerware tiered box, a traditional technique of Kagawa lacquerware. It has a sense of weight. The deep red color gradually changes to a more vibrant red over time, creating a nice effect. The wooden base is made by carving out entirely domestic natural wood. Unlike finger-jointed construction, there are no seams, making it very durable.
