I am offering this item from my mother's collection at her home. This is a Makai (rice bowl) from Tsuboya ware, made over 50 years ago. The artist is unknown. I believe it is a rare piece. While there are no visible cracks, it makes a slightly dull sound when flicked with a finger, suggesting a crack somewhere. I haven't been able to find it visually (I apologize). As it is a Makai from over 50 years ago, it shows signs of aging and has a vintage feel.
