I wanted to make a bag with a French color scheme! So, I created this one using a beautiful apricot color (abricot in French). It's a very lovely color, and I don't think it will be the same as other young ladies' bags. I used medium-weight canvas fabric for both the front and back, making it durable. The embroidery uses DMC, a high-quality French embroidery thread known for its exquisite colors. The bullion roses are placed on the front, the handles on the back, and also as accents in two places on the main body. The grosgrain ribbon on the handles and bouquet has a subtle sheen for an elegant touch... (*^^*) Japanese-made Chappé Spun thread is used for sewing. This is a handmade item by someone who is not a professional. There may be some imperfections, but I have used luxurious, carefully selected materials that cannot be found in commercially available products. Based on my own experience raising children, I have created something that I thought would be great to have and would last a long time for children... I've shaped the "I wish it was a little more like this" into reality. For entrance exams, nursery school, elementary school, after-school lessons... music bags, art, library, home economics bags, carrying sketchbooks, and other small works... (*^^*) In my home, we use it as a sub-bag to hold items that don't fit in the gym clothes bag. I think it's a design that is easy to carry for young ladies attending private schools, as well as those attending public schools, lower grade students, upper grade students, older sisters, and mothers.
