Shipping is unavailable from January 17th to 26th. This belonged to my mother, who was a master of the Hanayagi school of dance. It has a brownish-gray base with a maple leaf pattern. The back has a color that appears orange or greenish depending on the light. I believe it's called a Nagoya obi. It's constructed with a wide section, likely for the otaiko (drum) knot, and a narrower section to wrap around the body. There are fold marks. I think it's beautiful, but it has been stored for a long time. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details or if you are looking for a perfect item.
