# Saep* Kurashi Market # Saep* Kurashi Market_Netsuke A turtle netsuke made from camel bone. Size: approximately 2.5cm long, 2cm wide, and 1cm high. It's a small size that fits in the palm of your hand. The price is for one item. Likely made in China, possibly from Beijing, Guangzhou, or Shanghai. This was purchased by my mother, who ran an antique shop, during her buying trip to China about 30 years ago. I haven't listed them yet, but I've included photos of the turtle series. The bottom one is made of coconut, and the others are made of camel bone. Turtles have long been considered auspicious symbols of "longevity" and "prosperity," making them a great small gift for someone special. (The turtle designs vary slightly.
