Made with freshly harvested Aichi Prefecture's new crop of "Minea-Asahi" rice from Reiwa 7 (2025), and "Nanten" (Japanese sacred bamboo), which is auspicious for "turning hardship into good fortune" ✨️ Minea-Asahi is a brand of rice from Aichi Prefecture, known as a phantom rice♡ The white flower in the center is a dried flower of chrysanthemum and helichrysum (strawflower), which are considered auspicious for longevity, good luck, warding off evil, and inviting good fortune! The mizuhiki (decorative cords) are tied in a Kanau Musubi (True Knot) to make wishes come true. May you have a wonderful year where your wishes are granted♡ Also used are pine needles, which are a symbol of vitality, longevity, and eternity, and are a marker for the Toshigami (New Year's gods) to visit the home, and Hikage no Kazura (club moss), which has been used in Shinto rituals since ancient times✨️ Each piece, including the handmade mizuhiki, is carefully crafted.
