The warp uses black Zimbabwe cotton, known for its strength and commonly used in denim, while the weft uses a blend of Zimbabwe cotton and French linen in an indigo blue tone. The fabric has a characteristic smooth feel due to the linen blend. The fabric thickness, with its delicate pin-oxford structure, makes it difficult to see through even with a single layer. It drapes well and is lightweight, and the linen in the weft gives it a beautiful slub texture, making it a versatile fabric for home sewing.
