The following is a product description: Analog 4-pole resonant low-pass filter with attack and decay (AD) envelope generator. PARAGRAPHS is an analog 4-pole resonant low-pass filter with an attack and decay (AD) envelope generator, designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. The heart of the LOW PASS FILTER circuit is the AS3320 analog chip, a modern replica of the same component used in analog classics such as the Sequential Prophet 5, Pro-One monosynth, Elka Synthex, and LinnDrum. The cutoff extends to the full audio spectrum, and the resonance begins self-oscillation at approximately 70%. The ENVELOPE GENERATOR starts at a low frequency of 0.05hz, slowly changing over a 20-second cycle, up to (and beyond) the 300hz audio threshold, providing wave-shaping effects like those found in West Coast-style synthesizers ("think Buchla"). Paragraphs supports instrument-level and line-level signals. Dedicated controls for input (drive) and output levels allow you to easily switch between clear, clean tones and clipping fuzz. A multi-color LED visually displays the signal level. Red indicates clipping. Flashing orange indicates the onset of overload. Green indicates that the signal is below the nominal level. CONTROL VOLTAGE and MIDI inputs are provided to remotely trigger the envelope generator. This allows for rhythm synchronization with external systems such as MIDI sequencers, Eurorack, and digital audio workstations. Please check my profile before purchasing.
