I remade a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) I purchased at a recycle shop. It's a chic and gorgeous item. The fabric has a textured pattern (it looks slightly gray in the 8th photo, but it's a beautiful black). The lining of the long bag is made from the fabric of a long undergarment (nagajuban) that I bought as a bolt of fabric. It's been stored for a long time, and there is some overall discoloration, but it's a sturdy silk fabric. The lining of the body bag is from the hakke (lining of the lower part of the kimono) of another kimono. There are some sewing marks and creases. I think there are almost no stains. The photos show a Tsugaru shamisen (a type of Japanese lute) placed inside. The shamisen is not included.
