This is a reversible hanhaba obi (half-width obi) from Mete Yunde. Made by the long-established Kyoto company, Kawashima Orimono. Made of silk. "Mete Yunde" is a brand produced by Mutsumi Tsusaki, a marimba player and kimono collector. Worn a few times, there are some signs of wear and tying marks, but it is a beautiful item without any noticeable stains. It's a reversible obi, so you can use it with different looks on the front and back. Silk obis have a crisp, rustling sound and are very easy to tie, so they are less likely to come undone even after wearing them for a long time.
