Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item. Rei Ayanami action figure sculpted by Maki Asai (F-Face) and fully supervised by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. Although she is in a plug suit, the major feature is the original, mecha-girl-like arrangement. The figure is manufactured by Megahouse. Basically made of PVC, the eyes are painted in great detail, including the pupils. Small but with fine tampo printing. Metal pins are inserted into the joints of the knees, arms, and thighs. The upper arms and wrists rotate left and right via axial connections. The elbows can bend more than 90 degrees with metal pins. The neck, shoulders, and waist are ball-jointed. Since it's an old figure, the ball joints don't move much, and you can only slightly change the angle. The base of the thighs is movable with metal pins. The connection of the thighs is a ball joint, which is a slightly unusual structure. The knees bend quite well, despite being a single axis. The slender silhouette is beautiful.
