UES (Ues), a popular Japanese denim brand, slim straight denim LOT400S, size 31 waist. These 5-pocket jeans are a reproduction of the good old days of manufacturing. The fabric is UES's original 14.9oz brown cotton denim. The original low-twist yarn is woven slowly on old-style power looms, resulting in fabric known for its fading. In terms of sewing, cotton thread that fades is used to blend with the fabric's color fading. The cotton thread has no unpleasant luster like nylon spun yarn and ages naturally. The thickness and color of the thread are also changed depending on the sewing location. The fabric is folded to create a raised area between the belt loops and the W stitching of the pocket openings. This protects the stitches on the raised fabric, making them less likely to break. The 400S slim straight is a slimmer version (about 2cm narrower from the thigh to the hem) of the series' basic regular straight. It has a tight fit and a clean straight silhouette. Compared to vintage replica jeans, the rise is shallower, resulting in a modern silhouette. The back pockets are slightly smaller to balance the overall look. Even though it's slim, the hem width is sufficient to accommodate boots, and it's a silhouette that's easy to match with jacket styles. ● Size: 31 Inseam: Approximately 79cm Waist: Approximately 39.5cm x 2 Hem width: Approximately 20.5cm All measurements are taken flat, and as they are amateur measurements, please allow for some error. ● Condition: Purchased used about 10 years ago. The fading is starting to show, but there is still a lot of indigo remaining, so you can enjoy the color fading. It has been stored at home since then. Whiskers, honeycombs, etc., as shown in the photos. (There are wrinkles from storage on the left front knee, etc. Some of the inseam stitching is broken.)
