Based on the highly-regarded HAO Rust Driver circuit, this pedal has been modified to further drive the signal by changing resistor values and using LED clipping to increase low-end punch and volume. As an aside, the Marshall Guv'nor also uses LEDs for clipping. For the enclosure, we've used a genuine Marshall switch, fitting for a Plexi-style pedal, and changed the knobs to the type used on Marshall amps, paying close attention to the design. True bypass and point-to-point wiring minimize sound degradation. The pedal has a simple single volume knob. It seems to pair well with tube amps. It can also be used with the volume always at full, and controlling the sound from crunch to clean by lowering the guitar's volume.
