For sale is a Bach tenor trombone, Stradivarius model 36BO. The Bach 36BO is a versatile trombone that can handle a wide range of genres. There are almost no used 36BOs for sale, so I think this is very valuable. Since it's a medium-bore trombone, it uses a small-shank mouthpiece. You can produce Bach's brilliant tone with relatively little breath. It's also lightweight, so you won't get tired even after long hours of playing, and I think it's easy to handle even for women or those who aren't very strong. Despite that, it produces a solid sound that can compete with Yamaha's large-bore trombones. The rotary valves and slide operate smoothly, and it has been maintained so that it can be played immediately upon arrival. There is no sticking of the tuning slides. There are almost no dents, rust, or lacquer peeling, and it's in very good condition. I've handled it with care, and since I own multiple trombones, I haven't used it very often, so I think it's very clean for its age. This is an example where there is no discoloration on the bell rim, which is common with Bach trombones. Of course, it has been used, so it's not like new. Please forgive the very slight scratches, such as those from being placed on a music stand. I have taken pictures of the entire instrument, so I think you can see that it is in good condition. The current new retail price is 751,300 yen, so the asking price seems to be quite a bargain considering the condition. (It seems that the 36BO is now more expensive than the 42BO.)
