Handmade glass eyes have individual differences, so we combine similar ones for use, but because they are glass, they may break or crack during installation. Therefore, we recommend purchasing 4 pieces, as purchasing only 2 pieces may result in differences in the finished product. Also, I am currently selling these wooden antique shoe buttons, which are even harder to obtain than German glass eyes. These were originally made in Germany to be attached to boots (shoes), but they came to be used as teddy bear eyes during the war in Germany. Using antique shoe buttons allows you to create a teddy bear with a different antique atmosphere than glass eyes, with a matte texture and the warmth of wood.
