The "Reverse 3/2" in the model name refers to the top 1/3 of the foil being twisted, with a 3° cant angle and a 2° toe angle. "Reverse" refers to the shape where only the tip is straight, which successfully gives the foil's base and tip two different characteristics of Future's "Vector Foil". This unique foil allows for effective rail utilization, providing quick drive, speed, and grip. The shape transitions from a 4° cant angle at the base to a 7° at the tip, providing a loose ride feel. The toe angle at the fin base is set based on the box placement, and is 2° less at the tip, allowing for tighter engagement. Vector Foil = Provides speed and a locked-in feel. Scimitar Tip = Provides improved pivot and release. The Alpha is made in Huntington Beach, California, USA, using NetPlus, a material recycled from Bruno's fishing nets, and Future's Compound 6 carbon, utilizing Air Infused technology.
