The Procyon series is positioned above the Fream's series (Fuego lineage), emphasizing lightweight design. This AL model, in particular, features an aluminum body, offering both lightness and strength. The reeling feel is so smooth, you might wonder, "Is this really a 6+1 BB?" The sensitivity is also quite good. Above all, the biggest advantage of this reel is the absence of the highly controversial Mag Seal. Perhaps this is one reason for the smooth reeling. I imported this model from Amazon US around 2020, shortly after its release. In terms of actual fishing, I used it twice for one-tenya fishing and several times for sea bass. Since I switched to surf flounder fishing, I haven't used it, and it's been gathering dust in my room. As you can see in the photos, there are quite a few scratches, damage, and corrosion from use, but there are no problems with the rotational operation. I think it can still be used. The line capacity was about 300m of PE 0.8, and it seemed to have plenty of room. I think 200m of 1.2 would be just right (although I'm not certain). The handle knob is a Gomexus slim knob. I lost the original knob after replacing it, so it is not included. It seems that this model is discontinued by US Daiwa, making it a rather rare item. How about it?
