New, unused Urushi glass from Maruyoshi Kosaka Shikki. This is the "Suitoyo" series. It's an Urushi glass made by applying lacquer to glass and baking it on. The pair glasses have different colors, gold and black, from the bottom of the glass to the handle. They are gorgeous, elegant, and beautiful glasses. ★ Because different materials are bonded together, the name "Suitoyo" was created by combining the Nagasaki dialect word for glass (giyaman), which came from the West, with "Suitoyo" (I like you), and the meaning of transparent glass. Applying lacquer to glass, making the impossible possible. Through joint research with a factory test site, we developed a special baking coating and succeeded in greatly improving the adhesion to the glass. This has led to the birth of new tableware that can withstand daily use. New and unused, it was stored in a box in a cupboard, wrapped in cushioning material. It was opened for photography.
