Beautiful, nearly-new Nagoya obi has been made into a tsukuri-obi (pre-tied obi)! The obi fabric is crepe, giving it a supple feel. It features a light pink background with a pattern of floral shippo (seven treasures) and bamboo grass. As it's a Nagoya obi, the body section can be used on both sides. ⚪︎ Floral Shippo This is a gorgeous Japanese pattern that weaves floral motifs into the shippo pattern, which is created by overlapping quarter-circles. The shippo pattern symbolizes "harmony," "connections," and "prosperity," and the floral shippo is also considered auspicious. This is a mature and cute obi that will add a touch of elegance to subdued kimonos. How about pairing it with tsumugi or komon? The photos show it paired with a separately sold tsumugi kimono.
