As shown in the 13th photo, the included instruction manual states that the blade is made of silver (925 purity), so I believe it has value just for being a silver product. The contents are unused and have been stored for about 20 years, but there is no rust at all, and the blades, etc., can be smoothly taken out, which is what I would expect from a Victorinox product from the bubble era.
