Aero Leather A-2 flight jacket. This is a pre-war model with the model number 38-1711-P. The zipper is a valuable pre-Talon Hookless zipper, a sturdy grommet type. Made in Scotland from jerky horsehide, a soft and easy-to-wear horsehide leather. I purchased this as a beautiful used item, but I have a similar model and don't seem to have a chance to wear it, so I'm putting it up for sale. The grommet ring on the front side of the zipper insertion side is missing, and there are a few loose threads on the right sleeve rib, but the rib has tension, and although there are some minor scuffs, the leather is in good condition.
