I purchased this tent about 12 years ago and have used it with great care. However, my children have grown, and I'm changing my camping style, so I've decided to sell it. In my subjective opinion, even with hard use from now on, this tent is so well-made that if you take good care of it for at least 10 years, you could probably use it for 20 years. It's a truly wonderful tent that I'd love to keep for a lifetime. I have not used a wood-burning stove or campfire inside the tent. However, I have used it for camping quite a bit (about 50 nights), so there is considerable wear and tear, dirt, and damage. Therefore, those who are overly concerned about condition may want to refrain from purchasing. Regarding the condition: * I have not found any holes in the tent fabric itself. * There are some white-ish stains on the skirt of the tent fabric. (See photos). This may be due to the sandy ground where I set it up last time. It might come off if set up in the rain, but I can't guarantee it. * The floor sheet has two large tears and some small tears. (See photos). * Also, some of the seam tape on the floor sheet is peeling off, but there were no problems with water seeping through during use. * Some of the original pegs are missing, and everything in the photos is all that remains. I always used separate solid stakes when setting it up. Please prepare any missing pegs yourself. * One of the fasteners for the ventilation drawcord is missing. You can substitute with a 100-yen shop shoelace stopper. I fixed it by tying a knot, and there were no problems. * The storage bag has rust-related stains. (See photos). * There may be other issues, but please understand. This tent is like my child, as I have used it with care. I would be grateful if it could go to someone who will use it with care.
