The inside uses a subdued dark green Japanese paper with gold and silver. Old calligraphy samples (Showa era) are used. Because it is handmade by an amateur, there are some rough spots, so please understand before purchasing. The finish is varnish. Because there is a white background, persimmon tannin is not applied. The handle part uses the handle cover (vinyl tube) that was originally attached to the bamboo basket. Please note that the inside of the tube is red in places. The handle string is removable.
