This is an awase kimono, but it's thin and light. The lining and the himo (underskirt) appear to have been replaced and are in good condition. The shop staff told me it was silk meisen, but it's much softer than the meisen I have, so I'm not sure. There are wrinkles in various places. Areas that have gotten damp or wet have become wrinkled, especially under the arms. I feel like the color on the left chest to the side is slightly faded, perhaps a bit black. There are a few faint stains on the back. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. There are also areas that look like snags or pulls. There may be other unnoticed scratches, stains, or holes. There is a storage odor. This is not new, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to this.
