It was manufactured in 2015 and hasn't been used as the main shaver for a while, and the blades haven't been replaced for over 2 years. I have confirmed that the unit charges and the blades rotate. The rubber grip on the body is sticky due to aging. It may be necessary to take measures such as wrapping a towel around it. I have cleaned it briefly, but it is not perfectly clean, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. It is stored in a non-smoking household with cats.
