I set it up as shown in image 2, but we ended up co-sleeping, so it was never used and has been stored in its carrying bag in the closet. Although it's unused, it was left out for about five days during their stay. As it's a baby item, I understand that you may be concerned about minor details. Also, the spots characteristic of the unbleached fabric are remnants of the leaves that enclose the natural cotton flowers. Please understand.
