I purchased this a while ago at an antique fair at the Big Sight. It's in remarkably beautiful condition overall, you wouldn't think it was antique! This is a rare grapefruit type marmalade jar from DUNDEE. It has a patterned lid and a milk glass body. While ceramic types are relatively common, this one is unusual. It seems that the production period for milk glass was short, so they don't appear very often. I was told by the shop staff that it was likely from the 1950s. Height: Approximately 12cm. Diameter: Approximately 7cm. Although it's in very good condition, there are some slight stains and scratches on the lid. When you open the lid, it has a sweet scent, which it has had since I purchased it. I would appreciate it if those who understand antiques and don't mind these details would consider purchasing it. I love antique enamelware, tableware, cream jars, and marmalade jars, and I've collected a lot of them, but I've decided to sell some of them little by little to organize my collection. I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it.
