This is a Buddhist meal set (butsuzen-wan, goreigu-zen set) that was stored in the Buddhist altar fittings cabinet at my grandfather's house. It is quite old, and is likely from the late Edo period. There is some lacquer peeling, scratches, and dirt. Please check the photos. It has a cross within a circle crest, which seems to indicate a connection to my ancestors.
