This is wood flour used as a base in the kintsugi and lacquer art techniques. It is finely pulverized (106μ (microns)). Used for kokuso (wood putty). It is mixed with nori-urushi (glue lacquer) or mugi-urushi (wheat lacquer) to form a paste and used for cracks and scratches in the base material.
