Five cards are laid out and held together with a large clip. They are the Ace of Clubs, 2 of Spades, 3 of Hearts, 4 of Clubs, and 5 of Spades, with only the middle card being the red 3 of Hearts. First, you perform the familiar "Catch the Red Card" trick: the spectator clips a paper clip to the card they think is the red one, but when turned over, the clip is attached to the Ace of Clubs! After explaining that this is due to an illusion, the cards are turned over and the clip is removed. Now, there should be no more illusions. The spectator clips the clip to the card they believe is the red one, but again, it's the Ace of Clubs! "...It's like it's possessed by the Ace of Clubs! ...Oh no!" When the remaining four cards are turned over, they are all the Ace of Clubs?! There's no sign of the 3 of Hearts, nor the 2 of Spades, 4 of Clubs, or 5 of Spades. A shocking climax! This is a trick by Hiro Sakai, which was a hot topic at the FISM Dresden (Germany) convention.
