When taking out the cup, it's easy to remove by pushing it up from the bottom. The fabric thickness is 1.0oz. The flashy pattern is very unique but cute. Since there is no other pattern like this, please consider purchasing if it catches your eye. It can also fit a large (250) OD can, which can help prevent rust inside your cooker.
