I purchased this item, which is in near-new condition, and have kept it stored at home. I don't think there are any scratches on the gold trim of the teapot and creamer, but I believe there are a few slight scratches on the gold trim of the sugar pot. The teapot appears to have been stored in its box unused, and the box is included. I believe the set is in beautiful condition overall.
