This is an antique black pearl ring I inherited from my grandmother. It's probably more than half a century old, and I think the design is quite rare these days☆ The mysterious luster of the black pearl, along with the beautiful and delicate gold filigree setting in the Art Nouveau style, adds to its mystique. The black pearl is approximately 9mm in diameter, and the setting is 14k white gold☆ (Stamped inside, see photo 4) The size is approximately 15mm inner diameter, which is an 8 in Japanese ring size when measured on a ring sizer. Black pearls (black lip pearls) symbolize quiet strength, and are said to ward off evil both inside and out, while allowing your true self, deep within your heart, to shine.
