The fabric can withstand handling that would drag it on the ground every time the pack is put down. These are clipped to each side of the bag's belt using loop toggles and are held securely. The center of the pouch is held securely with an elastic band. The pouch is symmetrical and can be attached to either the left or right side of the belt.
