Two sets of Matsui Tengudo's hand-printed Hanafuda cards, premium "Phoenix" design with gold backgrounds. These cards are from the late Shigeo Matsui of Matsui Tengudo, the only company in Japan that produced hand-printed Hanafuda cards. These hand-printed cards are said to be unique, with no others exactly like them. Due to the lack of a successor, the company closed, and these cards are now known as "phantom hand-printed Hanafuda cards." Due to the nature of the paper, some warping may occur over time. These are luxurious cards presented in a paulownia wood box. They were very popular with overseas guests.
