This is probably a remnant of the obi core removed from an old Nagoya obi for remodeling. There are stains and what appear to be age-related discoloration, remnants of the obi with one edge about 2.5cm wide running the entire length, and traces of being folded in half from the middle. There are also traces of red color transfer from the outer fabric and markings, so please enlarge the images to check the condition. The fabric color appears whitish in the second and subsequent images, but it is a beige color. The stains are slightly less noticeable, but we appreciate your consideration if you understand antique, vintage fabrics, old fabrics, and recycled kimonos. Compared to the thick, heavy cotton obi core being sold next to it, the weave is dense yet light (though not as light as non-woven fabric made of synthetic fibers), with a jute-like texture. The fabric feels firm but not stiff, and somewhat soft. Although the condition is not good, this type of obi core is rare, so we hope that those who understand this description can use it skillfully as a material for handmade items.
