Meet the Artist When Brenda first arrived in Arizona at 18 years old, she witnessed an unforgettable desert sunset. The vibrant colors in the sky and the glow of the sun inspired her to paint her first sunset on canvas. Brenda J. Schod After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1985, Brenda wanted to combine her love of painting with her passion for creating memories with family and friends. So, she began painting landscapes on ornaments. The demand for her work quickly grew year-round, and she launched her small business in 1997. For over 25 years, Brenda has continued to capture the beauty and essence of sunlit landscapes through her artwork. In 2022, Brenda partnered with her daughter, Brittany, to begin creating ornament prints of her original paintings. Together, this mother-daughter duo is passionate about creating beautiful sunlit-inspired keepsakes and delivering joyful memories that last a lifetime!
