Thermocouples and thermometers compatible with the coffee roasting logger Artisan. Improved, the thermocouple converter uses MAX31855K, resulting in better temperature accuracy and stability. Thermocouple: K-type, 5mm diameter, 10cm long stainless steel sleeve, M8 screw, cable length approx. 170cm. The thermometer can be connected to a computer to record data in Artisan. It also works as a standalone thermometer by connecting a mobile charger. While not highly precise for coffee roasting, the temperature measurement accuracy is sufficient. It has a function to correct for deviations from other thermometers. Artisan Installation: Requires the ability to handle USB serial COM port settings, due to the thermometer driver (CH340). Operation confirmed on Windows 10, 11, and ubuntu 22.04LTS. A user has reported successful operation on a Mac book pro / OS sonoma 14.6.1. An instruction manual (for Windows only) is included.
