They were stacked in the cupboard and stored for many years. It is believed they were kept for guests. It is unknown whether they were used. There is no outer box. It is likely that they are from the Showa to Heisei eras. There are no noticeable scratches, stains, cracks, or chips. Since they are old, they have been washed with dish soap and dried. Also, both the cups and saucers have small black spots, like dots, that appear during the firing process. There are also what appear to be water stain marks on the underside of the cups.
