After purchase, I only installed it to check the pot positions, but I never installed the pickups, and it's in like-new condition with the protective film still on the surface. The back is covered with an aluminum sheet, which I believe is effective for conductivity. I'm selling it to change the Stratocaster I'm building to a '60s spec. I'll quote YJB's description: It fits current USA and Mexico made 50s models. It's an inch standard, so the hole positions may not match Fender Japan guitars. I think it's best if you're imagining a natural aged white look for a '56-'58 Stratocaster.
