There are no problems with use, but please be aware of this if you are concerned about the appearance. [2nd] Also purchased at the time of release and used for about 1.5 years. There are no scratches, but there is some dirt near the grip due to a failed removal of the original grip (see images). [3rd] Purchased from a friend and used for about 1 year. There are no particular scratches, but there are marks where the grip has been sanded (see images).
